I have two great secretaries who work alongside me to help with appointment bookings and responding to patient enquiries.
Alison is responsible for Mr Ramsay's Windsor-based appointments and the best method of communication is e-mail, which is presently email@example.com
Alison's direct line is 020 3311 7669, or mobile 07752 249 999
Katie has worked for Mr Ramsay since he joined London Urology Asoociates in March 2017. Together with her colleague she looks after all of the Andrology consultants in the practice.
To book an appointment or if you have an enquiry Katie can be contacted on 0207 034 5032 or via email firstname.lastname@example.org
Joanna works alongside Katie at 18 Devonshire Street.
I am a senior HPC registered clinical Embryologist with over 20 years experience in assisted conception and andrology. I have worked in some of the most successful clinics in the world and have a special interest in male fertility. I studied at Imperial college and have a masters degree in Human Reproductive Biology during which I conducted a research project into sperm motility and effect on fertility.
I have worked with Jonathan generally for over ten years but began performing the semen analysis for him 3 years ago I now cover all his Saturday Windsor Spire clinics and perform semen analysis as well as consult with his patients on lifestyle factors as well as donor sperm options. I am also see Jonathans patients during the week in the evenings for patient convenience or in his absence at Spire if they need a semen analysis and can be contacted directly to arrange this on 01753 891118.
I have worked with Jonathan Ramsay for over three years; he is always open to different approaches for the treatment of male sub-fertility and is particularly interested in the way diet and lifestyle impact it. He is my 'go to' reference for all things related to male fertility that occur within my own consultations; I have a section on urological symptoms for example and if something is flagged up, I know I have the right person to refer immediately to. Many patients are told there is nothing they can do to improve their fertility, but I sincerely believe there is plenty one can do. There are multiple studies on the impact of say, an antioxidant rich Mediterranean Diet on semen parameters, and certainly obesity in particular may well negatively effect both testosterone metabolism and the molecular structure of sperm. In fact my MSc final research project is on this very subject. My clients speak very highly of him, for many it is such a relief to see someone who has such a proactive approach, who looks for the reason why something may be wrong, rather than just treating the symptom. Between us we have tackled all sorts of seemingly 'untreatable' problems such as high DNA fragmentation, for example, where a combination of drug therapy and a focused diet and nutritional protocol, with perhaps weight loss, have improved all semen parameters leading to a more successful outcome, either natural conception or pregnancy through IVF/ICSI where none previously occurred.
Jonathan has recently moved to London Urology Associates and therefore has even closer communication with his long-term friend and colleague Mr Suks Minhas.
Jonathan and Suks will now easily be able to confer over difficult cases; their combined experiences may well be helpful to some of the more challenging cases.
Jonathan also works closely with the diagnostic services provided by Dr Sheryl Homa and her team at Andrology Solutions, and Miss Claire Mooney at Fertility Solutions.
Additional close associations include the Lister Fertility Clinic where most of the Synchronised Sperm Retrieval procedures (both MESA and micro-TESE) are undertaken, and Hammersmith Hospital, where Jonathan works with IVF Hammersmith, both on-site and at 92 Harley Street.
For elective micro-TESE and FNA procedures, Jonathan works with the Andrology Department at Hammersmith Hospital and with Dr Channa Jayasena, Consultant in Reproductive Endocrinology.
Finally, he works very closely with Mr Dimitri and Mr J Norman-Taylor at the Chelsea &Westminster Fertility Unit.
